Carnival of Los Indianos in La Palma voted second best party in Spain

Clubrural this year celebrated the 3rd edition of Mi Fiesta es la Mejor (My party is the best) after a two-year break due to the pandemic.

Among the various festivals in Spain initially proposed as candidates, ten were selected as finalists due to their originality and their cultural and touristic interest.

After a month and a half of voting, the winner of the 3rd edition of this competition has been announced and first place went to Fiesta of Astures and Romans in Leónwhile Los Indianos, the famous carnival of La Palma (Canary Islands) took second place. Los Indianos, the carnival of La Palma, obtained 19.7% of the votes, while the third position was obtained by the Nava Cider Festivalin Asturias, with 16.6% of the vote.

Tenerife may have the biggest carnival in the Canary Islands and Spain, but Carnival in La Palma is unique and different in its atmosphere, which is why it has been voted by the public as one of the best parties and Spain celebrations.

This Clubrural competition aims to promote popular traditions and charming rural places in Spain, which are not sufficiently recognized, in order to give them more visibility and help them develop as a destination for national and international tourists. .

The other festivals and parties in Spain that have obtained the most votes, after the first three places on the podium, are: battle of flowers (Laredo, Cantabria), stilt dance (Anguiano, La Rioja), The Salto del Colacho (Castrillo de Murcia, Burgos), El-Ab (Cazorla, Jaén), viking pilgrimage (Catoira, Pontevedra), Procession of ataudes (Santa Marta de Ribarteme, Pontevedra) and Baixada of the Raiders (Coll de Nargó, Lleida).
