Mojácar Council launches “Feel again” campaign to attract national tourism

While Mojácar is already considered one of the most sought-after destinations this summer, the Mojácar City Council has launched the “Volver a Sent” (“Feel yourself”) campaign, to strengthen the continuous promotion and mainly to attract the national tourism. It is an initiative which aims to rediscover the sensations experienced by visitors to the locality.

The sea, the mountains and the uniqueness of its streets are some of the reasons behind a unique experience in an incomparable brand.

In short, the campaign shows the potential of the municipality and aims to boost attendance during the holiday season.

The locality is therefore positioned as one of the best tourist destinations in Spain and approaches the summer by promoting the most remarkable places.

Mojácar, which still has a year of six blue flags for its beaches, has been a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain since 2013 and was the first Andalusian municipality to obtain the Family Tourism quality label in 2017.

Tourism advisor Emmanuel Agüero commented: “We have made a big effort with decisive support to promote our municipality as a leading tourist destination and to revitalize a sector fundamental to the local economy.

“We want to emphasize the importance of the endless possibilities that Mojácar offers to tourists, with a versatile and unique offer, and which has something for everyone,” he added.

The adviser stressed that another objective is to “revive job creation in the catering and hotel industry, as well as in tourist accommodation, because it is one of the sectors hardest hit by the pandemic. .

“Tourism is crucial to generate wealth in our town, and we will continue to work in this direction over the coming months,” he concluded.

Multimedia campaign

The multimedia campaign thus shows the most exceptional corners of the destination. The regular visitor will be able to recognize several enclaves of the municipality, in which he will want to return to “feel again” and discover new ones.

Those who do not yet know Mojácar will undoubtedly feel drawn not only by the charm of its beaches, streets and viewpoints, but also by its establishments and the possibilities for recreation and entertainment.

The coast and the beauty of the village of Mojácar are the backdrops chosen for this tourist campaign.

These places represent a brushstroke of what residents and tourists can find in Mojácar, recognizing that it is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. History, culture, sun, beach, mountains, sport and gastronomy meet in this paradise of the Levante region in Almería, 365 days a year.

In addition, the offline and online campaign will reach TV screens thanks to the sponsorship of weather forecasts on 7tv, Murcia Regional TV and Castilla-La Mancha TV.

The 20-second advertisements will also be broadcast on Movistar TV and Canal Sur Televisión with the aim of reaching as many tourists as possible. The image of Mojácar will also be projected in the Madrid metro with six four-meter advertising panels. In addition, a massive advertising campaign is planned on the social networks Facebook and Instagram and on the Google search engine, with a total reach of millions of people.

The campaign includes extensive photo coverage, quality cinematic video clips and the participation of professional actors and local residents. These are young people and children, as well as a few Dutch residents who have settled in Mojácar for four decades, as an indication of the attractions that Mojácar offers in all its aspects and for all.

To achieve this, a team of professionals worked for several days in places that play a prominent role in advertisements and images.

Note that the campaign will be divided into different interest groups, such as families, young people, seniors, golf and water sports in order to demonstrate a varied and quality offer.

The campaign will start in the coming days via all media. It is hoped that it will have a major impact in terms of reruns, reach and visits.
