Employees look to their employers for help when dealing with mental health, financial strain and childcare challenges. Indeed, 58% of employers offer their employees welfare benefits, according to data from the Society for Human Resource Management. Eighty-three percent of employers offer mental health coverage and 79% of employers offer EAP.
“People are reconsidering and reassessing their priorities,” says Dr. Natalie Baumgartner, Chief Workforce Scientist at Achievers. “They are looking at how their organization supports their well-being and their life balance.
Around 41% of workers say feel exhausted and nearly a quarter report experiencing symptoms of depression as a result of the pandemic, according to data from SHRM.

Employers can use regular check-ups to assess the needs of their employees and provide benefits that take care of the individual as a whole.
